Yammie Noob Crash.

Well it does appear that it is indeed yamminoob. I like the guy and firstly hope he is still alive and that he's not too seriously hurt. Even if it's not him I wish the same for the rider.

Without watching the video, are there any other sources?

I heard it was a Daytona involved, but I don't know what he rides, other than (incorrectly?) assuming a Yamaha.

That's one heck of a crash!

Looks like it could be him. However, most faster riders are using SupaCorsa tyres so it's not evidence on its own

Holy crap. Until I watched the video, I thought this was about his last crash, which was only a few months ago. Terrifying.

Serously though -

This is the difference between vloggers and bikers

If one of us crash on a track, we make sure the rider is fine, then we take the piss and hope someone got it on camera

The same really applies for my mates who ride, we have respect

Vloggers - Bang it on Youtube before knowing the rider is OK... I don't feel right about that

Smo put a video out about it, citing reddit as the source. Not seen any actual confirmation yet.

Smo's video is quite like a news report in that it highlights the evidence that it's YN, but emphasises that it's not confirmed.

It's gaining a lot of views quickly too.

See what you're saying, just doesn't quite sit right with me but each to their own. Its only my opinion

I'm with you, not always best to put the footage up, and also how the story broke without confirmation of who it was, or indeed, how the person is doing.

Pretty certain we unanimously hope that they will fully recover from the injuries.

Totally agree. Plus here in the US expect everyone to get interviewed by the cops and I can imagine them calling in from the scene to get warrants to take videos as evidence in the investigation.

Nothing worse than being bored in bed before a big day of riding tomorrow (shoot now today).

So I wandered over to Reddit and found D1rtybacon, or someone pretending to be him, confirming it was Yammie but then proceeding to be boastful and call out Non-riders with his awesome motovlogging skills.

Then I went to YouTube and was surprised how few videos the guy had. There was one from several months ago where he, Yammie Noob, and some other guys were out hot dogging it after a meet up. Hot dogging it is putting it mild, more like trying to see who could out ride their skill level.

What a shame that there are some motovloggers out there making the rest look bad. Same for any riders that act in a way to cause the rest of us to be viewed as suspect.

By the way, the Porsche driver got a bit of a strawberry from the airbag. Reddit is coming up with a few funny ideas for Yammie's next list video. They were trying to be mean but I think it would be cool if he did them to fill out his recovery time.

Anyone got any more information on his condition? His website was under reconstruction today.

Thanks Lupin.

Well, that is strange to admit liability like that. The Porshe owner or insurance will have a field day if the want to.

Both arms being affected seems very serious indeed. I would not be surprised if there is more and he had Ms. Yam type it up giving just enough information.

What a shame. Lots of lessons to be learned though. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I think with the obvious video footage he may as well admit liability and get it over with. Every chance the Porsche driver was speeding also.

Couldn't agree more. I feel like some vloggers see this as an opportunity to gain views, thats not right at all.

On the other hand, I think Smo's video on the subject was more sincere, informative and impartial to weigh up the evidence as at the time we weren't sure who it really was.

Glad he's alright, all things considered. Not a crash you'd expect someone to walk away from! Very lucky
