Some motovloggers wear a ski-mask when showing their face in a webcam video...or never reveal their identity throughout the duration of their channel

why is that?

Probably because they have been in a several gay porno movies involving midgets dressed like characters from the Harry Potter series, and dont want any of the YT public to recognize them. My guess anyway.

Wilks, yer killin me!! LOL

I think it's just a personal choice. Maybe we really don't want to know what they look like. I've probably scared away hundreds of subs by showing my mug! 8-)

We need a smiley that portrays sarcasm, because after my post, I would have added *tongue-in-cheek-sarcasm-smiley*

Sad thing is that even though it was meant in sarcasm it's still true in some cases.

the main reason I hide my face, is the shame of being a ginger nut, here I have a cunning disguise though, I shaved it off, but I don't think it's fooling anyone...

erm, the main reason my face isn't on youtube, is that I'm behind the camera, or the camera is on my helmet.

I'm not sure, but a lot of motovloggers are happy to show their face, and in general it seems that female vloggers tend to be better at talking to the camera.

I just wondered...I appreciate the feedback. I was under the impression it was a concealment of identity in order to not expose one self to some of the possible violations one might have on the road in a particular video...such as doing a TOP SPEED video...or running a red light etc...

but I think after reading some of these posts...I am gonna be one of those motovloggers (once I get my bike) that has some videos on the bike and also has some videos showing my face....as I have a channel already where the camera is pointed at me anyways...so I am used to it.

I take care to try to never upload anything that would show me riding badly, or breaking the law, or any of my friends. The way the instruments are layed out on my fazer, wherever I put the damned camera the speedo makes an appearance on a ride, unless I use a mount fixed to the bike,

Hopefully, I can get my camera to another skills day, or wheelie school, or drag strip, when we let loose again. :)

most vloggers that HVE shown their face, have no or verry little illegal vbits in their vids. were someone like. m13 for example always has something in every video

i dont show my face cause on my last channel i did do some illegal stuff, but the reason i still dont is so a future employer wont know its me so i can speak freely and i do speed sometimes as well lol

Because If I were recognised on the street, I wouldn't be able to get all the girls off of me!!!!!

So I'm far safer walking around with everyone under the false idea that I am a loser :)

I don't really mind showing my face because at the end of the day when I meet other vloggers they see my face! So they already have that connection of who I am and what I ride plus.... They see my face! (just wanted to repeat that) :)
I don't intend to do anything illegal on my videos but even if I do I'm not worried.

And the fact that I'm desperate and lonely for affection.
