Hi all!
A bit about me;
I'm from a seaside town in the south east of England.
10 years ago at the ripe old age of 17, I started my 2 wheel journey on a
Yamaha DT 125 (2001), I had that for a year and a bit before it was stolen. The pain is still there, yes..
Fast forward 6 months and I then got a
Honda CBR 125 (2004), had this for a couple of years and did enjoy it, I used to record my short commutes with a cheap camera but no mic, more so for security than anything else.
I tried to do my restricted access licence on this bike, & passed mod 1, on to mod 2 and I failed the test before even leaving the test centre...

being so focused on the ride I forgot that I had put my disc lock on (a good habit to always put it on, but in a test centre car park it probably wasn't necessary) Went to pull away and of course went no where fast, had to stop, take lock off, continue with test. Wasn't until afterwards the examiner told me I'd failed instantly as he marked this down as a serious fault. Stung a bit as couldn't afford to redo the test in time before my CBT ran out.
Regardless of my silly test mishap, with growing up and moving out from home, I had to put bikes on pause and instead focus getting my driving licence and a car and couldn't afford to run both so the CBR went to a new home.
2018 rolled around and I was in a better position to finish what I started and got another CBT and then my big boy licence.
2019, I had been looking every so often at bikes with no real plan, and placed a random bid on eBay not expecting to win by a longshot, but figured why not. That actually paid off quite well given the condition and mileage of my now beloved
Suzuki GSX650F (2010)!
Have been lurking on this forum and some others for a while, and last week I finally got a Drift Ghost X for my birthday with a drift external mic.
I'm looking forward to honing my riding, vlogging, video editing skills etc and just having a bit of fun with it.
Thanks for reading
