Hi guys. First thing I need to ask is how do I change the color theme of the forum? It's too dark. I can't see what I'm typing. Ya. I'm old,,,lol.

This is a test. I figure out to click on the color pallet to change the color. But it doesn't seem to stay changed. How do I make it perminute?

Now to my intro.

I'm from the St. Louis metro east area. That means across the river in Illinois.

My current ride is a 96 1500 Goldwing. I have a California sidecar Friendship 1 attached to it. The sidecar is strictly for my dog Wilton. AKA "Sidecar Willie".

I dug out my old gopro hero 4 from years ago. I never really used it. So now I'm setting up a for some moto vlogging. I do have a very small youtube channel.

Did I mention I'm old. Technology is kicking my ass,,,lol. So I'm here looking for advice on how to get this set up. Due to heath reasons I'm on disability meaning my budget is very low. So I'll be using my old equipment. Can't afford to run out and buy new stuff,,,lol.

That's enough for now. I can't wait to get started.

Glad you got the issues sorted.
Welcome, that looks a great setup for you and your dog.
I know a few on here still use the Hero 4, so am sure folk will be able to help with your motovlogging setup

Welcome to you and your copilot there. I wouldn't worry about using the Hero4 because I still use mine from time to time. The Hero4 Silver is a really good camera. Plus you can get a lot of the same stabilization and de-haze that newer cameras have built in from editing software. Also the Hero4 does well recording 1080p60 and there is a trick to render the footage to make look very close to 4k.

This is a really friendly forum to ask questions. I have yet to see anyone reply with a "look it up" because everyone enjoys helping fellow riders/motovloggers out.
