Welcome to huber872

Hi @huber872,

Welcome to MotoVlog.com.
Where are you from? What do you ride? Say hello, what do you like? Why are you here?

Got a photo of your bike?
Hey guys!
Excited to find a motovlogging forum!
I was looking up better mics for vlogging and stumbled across our little community here.
I’m not on Facebook so I’m still holding onto old school forums like this!

I always really wanted to motovlog but all of my social media was based around off-road trucks, anytime I posted dirt bike stuff it never really took so I felt discouraged so I never really leaned into it.

Tried vlogging about cars about 4-5 years ago and bailed out because I had a brand new family and a crazy work schedule. This year I finally told myself to give it a try and I actually posted my first real motovlog last Sunday!

I’m pushing hard to make sure I have a consistent upload schedule, currently uploading on Sundays.

I’m based out of eastern NV.
I ride a KTM450, 600F4I, and KLX110
I have a motocross background, but these days I’m mainly stunt riding and doing a lot of exploring.

Welcome! Quite a list of bikes you got there. The one in the pic looks ready to be in a Mad Max movie!

That KTM looks a big bag of fun with the street tyres fitted! :D
They are a GAME CHANGER. They feel like a pair of erasers fitted to my wheels!

The 450 is a bit rough :( it needs some downtime and love soon. Hopefully I’ll have the f4i together soon, I think vlogs will be a blast on the street bike

Motovlogging and stunt riding, now that could be an interesting match. Can't quite picture someone casually talking to camera while doing high chair circles or superman :D
It’s been interesting trying to find the balance!
I haven’t had a mic for the first few so I didn’t talk as much as I would have liked. I also noticed that the super long wheelies were actually fairly boring to watch after the first couple… So I tried to cut a decent amount out. Just looked like more of the same. Looking forward to talking more. Gonna be fun figuring out what works the best for audience retention! :D

Welcome, looks like a fun bike!
Thank you!

Is interesting you have noticed wheelies can be boring.... when someone is skilled at a trick, they look easy, even though most mortals can't do the trick.
I don't tend to watch the channels that do stunts on the open road, do you have a place to do them in a controlled environment?

Closed area, on the other hand, can introduce other camera angles, like 3'rd person view, which are not really practical on street riding and vlogging.
