Welcome to BillyDaKid

Hey Everyone -

Glad I stumbled upon this place! These days I have been swapping back and forth between my Shadow 750's (1983 & 2007).

I am the type of guy that hates over-paying and loathes idea of paying for something I can do myself.

I love finding a run down barn burner and turning it into something you can be proud of. Since it is in Minnesota my winter videos are a bit eclectic, but focus on building and getting that rush anywhere I can.

Still very much getting my feet wet, but been extremely lucky in the subscriber/view game, but would love to do a meet up or find more fun ways to promote the Channel.

This is my 83 Honda Shadow. I have a mere $1000 into it. Still a work in Progress and if your like me the work is never done.

That looks like quire a cool project mate. There is a seperate thread where you can put your social media info:

Welcome and I love that look!

So having two a couple decades apart, which is your favorite?

Oh tough one. Its like asking which kid is your favorite. I would have to say the 83 though. When I got her she was stock and hadn't run in 10+ I feel like I know every millimeter of that bike. Granted my ass gets sore quicker, but I love the rawness of the 83.

Thanks!! It really has been a fun project. I paid $300 cash for it. Minnesota is a great place to find great project bikes with low miles. Since that pic rewired the whole thing (fucking only part about motorcycles I hate) and put some final asthetic touches. Only things left to do are decide if I want a short bobber fender or to lop off the frame entirely, drop in a dynojet, tune her back up. My main jets are like 10 sizes too small.
