Ouch! unlucky man and hope your leg heals up soon, deer are a pain in the ass, same thing almost happened to me a month or so ago but It managed to cross in time thank god. The just seem to appear from nowhere and leap across!

Yeah, road crossing deer are massive a problem here.
After I turned the camera off I just got up and walked it off!
 
Hate to say it but wear some fucking gear and it wouldn't have been so bad. I don't have much sympathy for this dude.

Hit a deer doing about 60 on a road near me a couple of years ago. Was a fairly small one and shot across, somehow seeming to go between the front wheel and the engine block and then disappeared. I have no idea how I stayed on, but the belly pan was ripped off (which was fine as I hadn't liked it, anyway) and there was fur lodged between the front tyre and the wheel rim which took ages to remove. No blood or guts. Well before I had a helmet camera unfortunately.
 
That deer was Bambi and after bike hit him he crawled off into the undergrowth and, like the biker, called for his mum. She never came.

Here's the description:
"Me(rod) getting taken out by a deer. Was riding a Yamaha WR250X around 1pm on Fox Island,Wa when it happened. Ended up in the hospital for 4 days. 6 permanent screws and a plate holding my ankle together,2 fractures to my should as well as torn muscle. To top that off had massive swelling/bruising on my hip from landing."

I watched that video about a day before my crash and while riding home after the crash I was like.."Damn!!! I should have laid there for a while screaming for help." lmfao

Seriously tho, That guy screaming for help is hard to watch.

Edited to say: I didn't sub because of the convo with his mom.. Whiny little bitch, no excuse!!! I don't care how much pain you're in. Fuckin man up already...

just watched this with my daughter , 1st thing she says, "where the fuck is your gear dumbass?", 2nd thing "I hope the deer is ok"... chicks man , go figure....

haha they're the more dangerous ones of the species :P my sister managed to crash a bike of mine that she was riding, I ran over to see if she was ok, and she just sat there laughing her arse off.
