Hey guys thatmanfromyorkshire here

I enjoyed watching the vids from the Portsmouth meet and it was great to see all the guys turn out for it Many travelled a fair old distance to get to it.

But i have an idea for a Northern meet and have loaded a vid to you tube link below about getting a big northern meet set up and create a friendly bit of competition going between meets. There was 22 at the Portsmouth one and it would be great if we could do a northern one with more vloggers attending.
Interest starting by the comment's so far on the vid,so ideas and thoughts guys would be welcomed

I noticed most meets tend to be in the north anyway, I was surprised there was such a big meet down south.

Its where folks want it to be buddy,nothing set in stone just want ideas from folks on meeting place times etc and what the guys want
So jot down ideas but make it for july/aug and lets get it on

remember though guys, there's the Wales meeting on the 17th to the 18th of August. have to see if I'm there :P if I am I may as well come to both :P and even portsmouth is north to me, but I'm guessing you meant further up than that :)
 
Yip Mike mate its further up than that,yeah early august sounds ok,but see what others are saying but its best to try and accommodate everyone ;-)
 
if we try and organise it just after the Wales meet, then we can all leave Wales and ride along to where ever it is as a group? what do you guys think?

Maybe mike it needs to be a totally seperate meet,just for keeping up interest,and some of the lads may have other things planned *dont know* but its good that ideas are coming out..

That would shorten the camping weekend by a day (unless you were going to suggest the Northern meet would be on a Monday or something) and it'd be a hell of a long way from whereever that meet is in Wales to Yorkshire or whereever this Northern meet will take place.
 
yeah fair point, well I'd have to hope that I could stay in the UK for a week or so if I'm not there permanantly, and have the meet a week or so after, I mean as much as I love riding :P it's a hell of a way

I was under the assumption it would be on a weekend without question! Which was why I said what I did :) the Wales meet is for a whole weekend, the only way to tie the two together is to shorten the Wales meet or make the Northern one on a weekday.
Either way it makes much more sense to have each on seperate weekends!

Sorry, I probably didn't come across clear enough in my first post.
 
It's a great idea. How about Sat the 28th July then?? Gives plenty of notice. Clashes with my holiday but I can maybe juggle to do that Saturday.
 
would love to but don't get paid until the 27th so i would have to wait a few days to get a cam and i was thinking skipton as i said i would show blahdeblah52 the castle there
 
I been North once, Watford I think they called the place.

The temperature dropped off exponentially!!! ;)

Enjoy the meet and if the weather gets above freezing that far North you guys could get more than 20+vloggers.

Have fun gents, hope it gets going.

Post the vlogs too :D
