I'm sure I've seen you around . I like your vlogs... straight and to the point - Navy like . My grandfather (quick subject change ) unfortunately had a bad heart when he was young but wanted to be in the service real bad... and this was back during the days of the draft. I forget if he either went to enlist or got drafted, but they rejected him during the health examination because of his bad heart. Well, every month they'd draw up his name out of the fish bowl, so every month he'd have to go back into the draft and be rejected every time ~_~ . He finally got fed up with it, so my grandfather marched into the guy who was the head of the draft in his county (my grandfather knew him - small town ) and told him that he was fed up with it... to either pass him through the health exam or to never pull his name out of the fishbowl again. Safe to say, my grandfather never got called up again . Later on in life, he and my grandmother went to work at the Hastings Naval Ammunition Depot by Hastings, NE during WWII... my grandfather was a foreman building buildings there and my grandmother was the secretary for the Major at the depot. Some good ol' history for 'ya ...

Sorry you didn't get to make it all the way through into service... but in any case, you've got yourself anther sub . Hope you'll be making more vlogs here pretty soon ^_^ !
