Hi, guys!

Totally newbie rider (of 6 months++) here from Asia. Used to be a car person before two-wheels started to make my head turn lol. Just got my licence/endorsement so I have no idea what I should expect on the streets. Unfortunately, I also got interested in motovlogging after that, so here I am!

Currently riding a Honda CB125F (nothing special, I know lol), which was almost similar to the one I rode when I started learning, the CB125E. Anyway, this new kid on the block hopes to meet you cool guys here! And hopefully get feedback for my riding and vlogging! :D

Hah, agreed! I love my 125. And the Grom looks really damned cute, if I were smaller I'd get that lol, but I guess I was afraid it couldn't handle me :D (or the other way around!)

That's my concern. Since I'm totally new to bikes, I have no idea what I should/should not do in terms of mods. So far I've done only very minor cosmetic modifications but other than that I'm scared I'll blow up the bike. :/ No doubt I'd like to get the most out of it though.

Don't change the exhaust set up, don't change the headlamps, don't change the brake setup, don't upbore, don't add cosmetic lights. Unless you're pretty rich and can afford buying 2 sets of everything so you can pay the mechanics $50 bucks every year to help you swap them out for inspection, and then swap it back again after that.

I made a vlog recently where I brought my new DRZ400SM for inspection, the prev owner had changed the disc brakes to a petal pattern, and I had to pay a lot of money to buy another set of OEM circular discs to replace it to pass inspection.

You can go crazy and decal or paint your bike however you want though, or change your handlebars, grips, levers, footrest, seat and air filter.

Maybe exhaust? Tail tidy? I personally wouldn't do anything performance wise as it'll be really expensive for very little increase.

It's the reg plate bracket i.e.

Ahhhh I see, yeah looks less all over the place lol. But yeah unfortunately you need to have a "spotlight" here on your license plate etc cuz cops (or rather some traffic enforcers who don't know how it feels to own a bike) over here nowadays can't see stick :/

Ah I'm sorry to hear man! Do you have to have a registration on the front of the bike also out there in Singapore?
