Hello everyone across the pond :) I'm not 100% sure how to post in a forum so forgive me if I screw it up exponentially and I'll blame Drobium77, lol. This is Jess (Dlinquencious on youtube) I'm headed over to the UK October 8th-18th. Spending a couple days in London and then headed to Birmingham Saturday the 13th for a motovlogger meetup. LazydaysRider has been arranging things and there may be a ride afterwards but nothings concrete except the museum so far. Any thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated cuz I'd like to hang out more than just at the museum and ride two up even if that's possible. I look forward to meeting as many of the UKmotovloggers as possible, it should be fun. Thanks!

I've gotta get me sen to bed now D , I'll catch you tomorrow.

It's so exciting to think you'll be coming over here , we''re sure to get a huge turnout , you're practically a superstar over here :-) (slight exaggeration)

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

There is a meet the day after in Matlock Bath for Marco Simoncelli. I won't be able to make it I am afraid.

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

I'm a maybe. It'll depend on the weather, but I can't see any other reason why not :)

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Yay! My boss has given me the day off because I said I wanted to meet you, so I owe you a big drink for getting me a day off work Jess' ;-)

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Hey Jess, I have booked the leave and wil let you know if it is approved. Also I am off on Wed and Thurs (10th and the 11th) if your not too jet lagged I can take you for a motorcycle tour of london as london is really beautiful at night and there are some amazing sights (just a thought). Otherwise I will (hopefully) meet you at the motorcycle museum on the 13th. Just re read that and it seems kinda stakerish d'oh :-S

Hope to see you soon

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Embarrassingly, I have no idea who you are! I'll have a look on YouTube when I get home (can't do it from work)...

Anyway, I live a few junctions down from there in Bromsgrove, so I should be up for it! If I've got the ZX9R electrical problem sorted out for then you're welcome to jump on the back - I'm sure we'll be able to sort enough kit out for you between us.

If not, I'll have to come on my tiny little GPZ500, which I shouldn't think is the best for taking pillions!

The best roads in these parts are over the opposite side of Birmingham heading out towards Shropshire, but we'll be able to find something. ;)

EDIT: Just watched a few more vids and I do remember the lowside, and did comment (nicely) on it - so I should be ok lol!

What kind of bear? I suppose it'd be a polar bear at that time of the year?

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Thanks guys, I'm so glad to see more people are coming to the museum. Johnathan has a few more coming as well, I think. Lol, what if it ends up looking like a biker rally!?! JP. Its gonna be way fun for me to meet everyone and thanks big time for those who are going the "extra mile" to be there.

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Yeah, I'm 100% in. I was taking the other day with The Female Biker, and I think we're coming together :)

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

Providing all goes well tomorrow, I'll be up to see you all. I can't stick around for too long though as I need to be back home for 4.30pm at the latest. I've not been able to get the time off in the evening so I'm probably going to come up on the Friday, stay in one of the Premier Inns overnight (anyone fancy splitting a room?), come to the Museum, see what's what and then head home about 1pm or so.

Other than that, hopefully we'll get a good few turning up :D

Re: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham October 13th 10 a

I am 99% sure that I'll be there. I pick my new bike up this Friday and I should get the rest of my settlement fee from the other party's insurance company with the next couple of days which will give me plenty of money to get there and back again.
