I left my house at 4.30am yesterday, and believe it or not, I managed to ride 85 miles without ever having a car or van etc in front of me! Gave way at the odd roundabout etc, but that was it. Wasn't until I got to Newbury that I finally hit traffic

fine on the rough bumpy gravelly bits, okay on regular grass really horrible on the wet mud, and soggy grass, but wrong tyres, and I don't actually know how to ride off road, as I haven't learned yet, I was mostly in first gear, with occasionally bursts at 20mph in second
