Anyone in the Houston area want to meet up for a group ride? Just trying to meet new riders and just recently started up my channel.
Well, I am a little farther north of Houston, but I bet if you came up for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ, we could meet up.Anyone in the Houston area want to meet up for a group ride? Just trying to meet new riders and just recently started up my channel.

That would be great, but I do live in Arkansas, and not sure if I would be able to make it right now, due to finances right now, but probably next year. Are you going to come up for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ???Hey man, I'm in the Katy area, but I'm willing to drive out to where you can meet. I'm currently looking at some roads up towards Porter with some friends of mine who also ride, and some roads down GrandParkway near Westpark. Let me know man, was in an accident but around mid October should be getting another bike. So let me know man.
Ok cool, thats not far at all, I took my Ducati to florida, man talking about a nightmare haha but yeah it would be next year, i'm current still recovering from my accident lol and hmm when is the next meet? That would be great, but I do live in Arkansas, and not sure if I would be able to make it right now, due to finances right now, but probably next year. Cool. Yeah it can be a nightmare going through Arkansas.I hope you get better. Well, so far as the next meetup as far as I know, I think it will be usually during the memorial day weekend. I think Trinith or Maath usually says something about it in this part of the forum talking about a Possum Pie or Ozarks meetup. I think it is usually in either Clarksville or Russellville. Both of those towns are about a few hours from where I am at.

Cool.Yeah seriously haha Thanks man, and oh ok gotcha, I'm gonna keep an eye out for those posts. And yeah I just looked up the route, its about 8 and a half hours from where I am, about 545 miles north of me. So itll be a nice journey.
Thanks.Btw man nice videos on youtube!
Awesome !! sorry for the late reply, just been busy with work. Sorry about your accident I hope you recover fully soon so we can hit the road!! But I pretty much ride everywhere I live in Missouri City so Katy isnt too far from me. But keep in touch Im ready to ride when you are just let me know when, looking forward to it. Also how bad was the accident?Hey man, I'm in the Katy area, but I'm willing to drive out to where you can meet. Cool.Yeah, it is quite a journey. If you think that is a journey, I tried to go to Sturgis last month, but could not make it due to a lot of things, but the biggest factor for me, was not only the money going on the trip, but the physical exhaustion I had on the trip. I went all the way up to Nebraska, and got as far as Grand Island, before I decided to turn back because of the high winds that were blowing about 25-30 mph going through Nebraska, and I had my bike pretty well loaded down to the point that when the wind would blow, it was feeling like it was blowing me all over the road and the bike felt a little wobbly going down the road into the crosswinds while I was going about 75 mph with winds blowing from the North and South.
This is a video of my trip at:
(I had to use self narration on it on my desktop computer, because the audio was not working at the time. This is one of the main reasons I am getting the 3.5 mm microphone audio jack for the Go Pro Hero 3+. It was frustrating that I could not narrate my trip that much while on the trip.)
Thanks. You have a variety to choose from.
I will make more vlogs when I get the 3.5mm audio jack for the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition, and the Sena Waterproof case that should be in next week. Probably around Wednesday or Thursday, but maybe sooner, I hope.
Right now, the videos I am trying to edit, have way too much wind noise, and you can only hear me talk very briefly at the beginning and very softly, but once I start going on the road, the wind picks up, because of the 2 microphones on both sides of the skeleton case that goes to the backpack, as well as the GoPro camera microphone and all they pick up is the wind and all I can hear is the wind noise when I go to edit it. I have the Sena SMH10 with the boom microphone, yet it is not useful without the 3.5 mm audio microphone jack, because it has it's own microphone wire that I can plug in as an external microphone. Kinda frustrating when all I can hear is a lot of wind noise, and not my voice, unless I am either stopped at a light, with the wind calm, or my motorcycle shut off and no wind noise at all.

Wow you guys travel pretty far on your bikes! Man the longest I rode was 350 milesOk cool, thats not far at all, I took my Ducati to florida, man talking about a nightmare haha but yeah it would be next year, i'm current still recovering from my accident lol and hmm when is the next meet?
Hey reegadebiker24 I visited your channel and subsribed! I fell in love with your new bike, looks beautiful! Also if you guys ever get a chance do check out my channel as well I am just starting out in motovlogging. Check me out on YOuTube just search CodeBlueR6 youll find me i cannot add any links at the moment. I would highly appreciate it. As far as your microphone setup I think your best option is to have an external mic, I'll soon be posting a video on my setup and it works amazingly. I am using a sony mic which is mounted right above my mouth and I travel down the highway and the wind noise is very low. If you have any questions or need any help with the mic just message me!
Yeah, it was pretty far to travel on my bike. If you do go on a long trip, the biggest thing I would suggest aside from preparing for the ride, is to get a camelback. Those things are great. Aside from that, make sure you have some good saddlebags, I think they do make saddlebags for your bike, but you might have to use some after market universal mounts for them, and I would go with the plastic, and not the leather, because to me, leather would deteriorate faster in the sun than plastic will. I want to get a sissy bar to put on my motorcycle and some motorcycle bags that go over it. The trip I took to Nebraska made me really consider it even more, along with mplswoman's hubby's single wheel trailer that he makes for long rides. If you ever come up to Arkansasa, I would like to do a dual vlog with you.Wow you guys travel pretty far on your bikes! There is a way to work around the vent! I watched a video on Youtube which gives you a solution, Ill try to upload a picture so you can see itHey, thanks. I love my bike too.It is an awesome bike. I think yeah, my best option is an external microphone. I have the boom microphone that is set up with the Sena SMH10-11, but it does not work until I get the 3.5mm mic jack for the go pro Hero 3+. I am trying to use it without it right now, and using the Sena Go Pro Audio Backpack has 2 microphones on it that pick up the wind noise on both sides, so the only thing I can hear when I get to edit the video, is the motorcycle engine, very faint on my voice when I am going down the road, and then the wind takes over. I have also the waterproof case that is on order, and should be sent to me by sometime this week, and that should get rid of the wind noise. I have put my camera on top of my helmet, because as a modular helmet, I have the Scorpion EXO 900 Transformer Modular Helmet. It is very hard to put a curved mount on the chin because of the major chin vent. I might have to get a straight mount for that if I put it on the chin. I am planning on making some local trips here in Arkansas soon that are very twisty, like the Arkansas Dragon. I was planning on it last weekend, but I think I will hopefully do it this next weekend.I subbed to your channel too.
I like your intro. I would love to have an intro like that .

I agree on your advice last trip I took I did not have one and I was stopping a lot just to rehydrate. But the more I talk to yall I might just have to come up to Arkansas with BlackShadowRider and do a dual vlog! I think they do I am considering a tank bag and a bag that just sits on the rear seat. I saw that trailer I wonder how it would handle at high speeds?Yeah, it was pretty far to travel on my bike.
