I’ve been called worse!

So I’ve been pondering the idea of Channel names and what I should put in the title section for my channel???

Sweet Triple, was always a bit of a impulsive name and something that I just thought of quickly and never really considered in detail.
My thoughts were:

-I have a Street Triple
-It’s “Sweet” (Dude Where’s my Car?)
-Sweet Triple

In all honesty, I don’t think the name is that great......

So.....question?

-Have any of you thought this way and wanted to re-name? Or have any of you thought about a more descriptive/on point name/brand?

-How would you come up with a good channel/brand name?

-What are your thoughts & processes?

Can we help each other with this, utilising our collective Hive Mind?

I thought of a new name today and told my brother (said it was shit).My idea was Moto Torque or maybe Torquing Moto..... what are your though on this?...... Happy to give unbiased feedback to others if they have a name they want to try if anyone’s in the same predicament??

My channel name came from me having a belly that looks like a hippo head when naked and me droning on about crap in my videos, I kind of wish I'd chosen a name that was more bike related, but it has done ok and only a few folk think I have a drone channel!
If you are going to rebrand, I suggest doing it while your channel is in its infancy, but what name you decide upon, that has to be something you need to feel comfortable with, coz you need to be able to tell folk what it is called and be happy with saying it. Nothing wrong with Sweet Triple, but one day, you may not have a Triumph!

I actually like your name, but as Hippo pointed out, if you ever get another bike, the name doesn't fit so well. Well, unless you get an old Kawi or an MV, then you can still pull it off.

I kind of like Sweet Triple to be honest. Has a nice ring to it and it's catchy!

I settled on my channel name by making a list of possible names, hating all of them, and then picking the one I hated the least, thus Moto Mengy!

I don't see myself ever changing it though, once your channel gets going the name matters much less than the content does. I realize that now.

Mine came from the fact that I randomly through all sorts of stuff from my life into the foray. And I have such a diverse interest group that it borders on weird. Our 2nd channel name for the one a rider friend and I are working on came from it being all motorcycle related, and both of us being from Wisconsin. Wisco Moto.

I think it would work just fine. its got a ring to it. I think it mostly all comes down to putting your name out there, and making videos.

I started a car blog over 10 years ago, and when I decided to start motovlogging, I thought and thought and thought on a name, and finally said fudge it, and I just revamped the web site and YT channel and went with it. So far, so good.

It's my Reality on the Road, so Road Reality.

I think I've changed mine, and my channel name three times over the past five years. I kept naming myself after the bike I was on. "Forzaman", C650guy, then I went generic and named myself after what I was doing "Motorcycle Destinations with Richie", but it just wasn't that catchy. I finally settled on Bald and Biking because not only is it catchy but it suits who I am, what the viewer can expect, and doesn't rely on what type of ride I have. So my advice is think about doing something like that, find a name that describes who you are, what you are doing in your videos, and doesn't rely on your brand of ride.

I guess my channel has two names!

I must have rebranded at a magic moment when coding was being run because the channel has my real name. Yes, I don't hide. My employer had a huge data breach where they have to protect my ID for 11 years so far, so why not use my name?

Then there is this -

Now I can ride any bike I want including Bird Scooters.

Mine is already personalized, but Hippo is right, can only do it once. Now I'm stuck with a personalized channel URL that I don't really want. But I'm still easy to find as "Bald and Biking"
