Have you had the Hucklebuck lately?
Today I am new to Vlogging! First time Ive ever seen or heard of it.
its right up my fucking alley....fuck ....fuck...I cant wait. I just got to put together a cam and some editing shits.

First and most important question...HOW DO I KEEP THE COPS FROM CONTACTING ME?
at any time they could contact you tube and ask em about my I.P. address, no?

Yeah, if they really want to get you they will even if your numberplate is blacked out.

The best way is to avoid posting anything illegal!

has anyone every been contacted by the police ??
Cause wheelies on the streets are the most fun!

So far most of that stuff doesn't happen in the US because they don't have the rights to really delve into it just because you posted a video. Yet. A guy in the UK got a letter in the mail from someone saying that he is not allowed to do something in a certain place and that they are aware of his bike and his plate # and he can get in trouble, or something to that effect.

Forgive my lack knowledge and of termonology....is it taboo or frowned upon to be excited about enjoying breaking the law on this message board?

ya beat me to the punch...ha ha..

Well thats good to know cause I am in the u.s.
I wonder if the cops could illegally get from youtube? or if your selling ad's on there could the cops ask em where this checks are goin?

p.s. this site fucking rocks!! Some of the commentary is classic ha ha ha

Boasting about breaking the law on this forum may not be frowned upon, but it does make you sound like an idiot.

/justsaying.

LOL

Just don't post anything illegal, if the cops can use CCTV for a prosecution I'm sure if they wanted too they are going to nab you after posting illegal riding videos.

They are fairly hot on it in the UK and Japan, but mostly only when a member of the public reports it. So just don't annoy or slag people off in ya vids ;)

haha well ask toysoldier, he's been contacted by the police after riding down a byway and taking a wrong turn onto an illegal stretch (he did this by accident too :O ) here's the link : viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1897&hilit

I may have a couple of wheelie vids or something on various bikes, sure they're fun :D but just make sure you keep your personal information to yourself ;) I have the advantage of that when I'll be in the UK I'll have foreign plates and a foreign license haha so even if UK police see my vids there's not much they can do about it, but still mate, be carefull :)

yup i was contacted lol most of my videos had wheelies in to i have removed them just in case but all depends on the serious nature of the video i think someone did get done for doing 150mph wheels and posting it on line but iv not herd of anyone geting done for small wheels or anything silly like

btw welcome =]

Now you have me curious. Are you talking about doing wheelies on a clear stretch of road, or on a crowded street like Ghostrider? It makes a difference with me, but I'm just one person and you probably don't care what I think. :)

Once ure channel gets adds and you want money, you need legit name and details etc. address etc

cops can ask youtube for that, inc contact details and email address.

I have had police ask me, but i partly work with cops.

You post ure on wheelie videos at your own risk. it only takes 1 person to send it to the local office for investigation and from there its a matter of time.

I have never been contacted by cops yet. Yes, I have quite a lot of illegal stuff in my videos, but these are common and almost everyone does it either. I'm actualy quite calm rider, and my speeding and occasional filtering isn't such a pain in the ass for the cops (not like some other guys are-going 250kph+ on local roads, etc.)

It's simple, don't do anything illegal, and if you do don't put it in your videos. If you break the law and you get caught, through YouTube or not you deserve everything you get, it's a simple part of life in society.

They can track you without adsense on your account. Tracing an ip address is common and simple.

Thanks for the input guys. I have been doing a lot of home work on the ins and outs to motovlogging the past couple days and I believe I have a fool proof plan to entertain....after all its just simple traffic laws . And I've never been the cause of accident in over 10 years. Never taken off someone's mirror that didn't deserve it.
