tailgunner here,

brand new, no idea what I am doing, not sure why I'm doing it, not sure how to do it, but willing to give it a try. if anyone can give a little advice, I would appreciate and buy a cold beer for it. Thanks and nice to meet you all !!

Welcome. A few tricks I've learned along the way that work for me, you may be completely different; (I'm just a small channel so don't take too much notice :) )
I try to keep my vlogs below 5 minutes.
I edit out everything that I don't think adds to the vlog; pauses, off topic chat, etc.
I then get someone to watch the vlog and be critical. This usually leads to more editing.
Wait a few days then watch it again. This usually leads to more editing.
If you ever get bored watching your own vlog, then so will other people.
Just because you worked hard making the vlog, doesn't mean you should upload it. I've deleted a few vlogs because they just weren't good enough.
Hope that helps.

Welcome to the forums! My advice to you is to be yourself 100% of the time in all the videos you post up.. This makes it easy to talk and give opinions and ideas so that you aren't worried about trying to act out a certain persona.. Good luck!

Welcome! Well, you should be little more specific what areas you think you need help with for others to give better advise, else I would say comb through the forums and read up on existing threads for general ideas and info.

WElcome from Dallas!

Focus on sound/video quality and get that down before you start posting vids. Getting that crap ironed out will let you know where you need to ask questions.
Next work on your edits and keeping things smooth and succinct as possible. Get a good program like Vegas, Premiere or Cyberlink powerdirector.
If you still don't want to get pissed off and throw all your gear in the trash after that, you're ready to go!
After that, content is king so try to find interesting and unusual stuff that sets you apart and shows your personality.

Welcome to the forum, +1 for being yourself, and getting audio and video worked out.

Also don't expect to blow up overnight its going to take a while.
