Hi guys
I'm Merlin from the little island called Tasmania just south of that big one everyone calls Australia!
We're kind of a bit backwards down here, well thats what we let the tourists think anyway, so we can keep our lovely little island to ourselves. Imagine the isle of man course but 90,000km2 of it and that pretty much sums up what it's like down here.
Firstly I'm dad to a beautiful little girl and I'm lucky enough have one of the most supportive partners that a bloke could ask for. For 8 hours a day through the week I'm a fridgy (Refrigeration Mechanic), working in the States capital Hobart. But when I'm not making things cold I'm usually out on my bike a 2005 Kawasaki zx6r riding as many twisty roads as possible!
I first found motovlogging when I stumbled upon Mr Baron Von Grumble when he first started out and have followed him ever since. As much as I enjoy his videos I want to do something different. I'm really keen to show off this amazing place I live to anyone that is interested.
My current setup is my trusty old gopro hero 3 silver and an undetermined external mic (currently in the market for one). With looking into getting 2 more cameras for added camera angles!
I'm not much of a performer and don't really know what to talk about but I'm looking forward to having a red hot crack at it. Any and all feedback or advice is very much appreciated!
Oh well enough of me waffling on if you ever find yourself down my way feel free to hit me up I'm always keen for a ride!
