Aye up.

New member here from Manchester, I don't exactly vlog, but I do have a motorbike and a camera, but no videos yet, and I don't plan on uploading talky videos. Mainly here to join some peak district meet ups if you'll have me :).

Current bike is a CBR 600F 2012.

Well this is exciting. It seems we have a very similar taste in motorbikes.

I'm planning a Peak District meet on the 3rd of November. More information if you click on this fabulously blue text right here.

Would be great to see you there. Would love to hear the opinion of another new CBR600F rider, I've been the only one here for far too long!

I will be looking to go on that ride out on the 3rd, just waiting to see what sort of weather it's going to be.

It was actually your videos which made me book the 600f for a test ride when I was looking for a new bike, I traded in the triumph above as part of the deal and get no end abuse for it from my mates. Loving the 600F though, feels so nice to ride on a twisty road, just goes where you want it to, which is something I can't say for that particular speed triple, I got it used and it never felt right to me. But when I finally come to move on from the 600, it will still be on my list of bikes to test ride, they are beautiful.

I will say this though, when you first open up the speed triple, it is immense, you will make noises like OrcaGT did here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 94E#t=140s

That bike always wants to go faster.

Haha, wow. Glad that you're liking the bike!

I've really enjoyed riding my CBR over the last two days after 3 days on the Speed Triple. The way I described it to someone yesterday is that the Speed feels really powerful and pulls like a truck. I said it was like it was "stomping" along.
The CBR, on the other hand, feels fast and sporty. Feels like it's flying along the road, barely touching it. It's very smooth but just as fun.

Glad I kept mine when I got the Triumph.

I can understand why your mates might find it funny, but that CBR will never do you wrong. It's capable of pretty much anything you throw at it. One thing I will say though: It gets a whole lot better once you put some better tyres on it.

Really looking forward to meeting you and talking about the CBR in person :)

You should have tried out the Street Triple...I hear it's a lot easier to throw in the corners than a Speed Triple.
