Miss RedRenna - UK motovlogger
This is my first time posting a video on here so I hope this works...

This video shows my first time on a 1000cc motorbike.
My friend Colin let me ride his bike, felt VERY different to my bike as will become clear when you watch!!! Enjoy!!

Warning: contains rudeness and possibly some swearing :P

Haha, I have seen a couple of her vids.
Sometimes I do get the urge to dress up as a large squirrel and hop on my bike... I liked that video of hers :)

Storms are awesome bikes, you cannot beat a twin!

Have a go on a proper 1000cc though, it's a different world! Storms are awesome but I find they are a bit gutless compared to modern 1000s.

Your voice was getting quite pitchy at times there LOL! ;)
Haha yes it was!
I really do want to have a go on a modern 1000cc bike but I am aware that it's alot more power than I'm used to and I dont want to go getting in trouble!!! Give me til the spring then I'm gonna have a go on loads of different ones. I don't think there is that much difference in hp between my bike and Colin's anyway, his is just more torquey

Very good mic setup.
thank you :) I put it so it just sticks out of the cheekpad. Although now I have lost the fluffy cover :( and it sounds awful. Anyone know where I can get replacements? Looked on Amazon and not sure which ones fit the ghost mic.

I road the sp1 version and id say gutless is far from it tbh, it has more get up and go downlow than any modern 1000 ive ridden

Are most modern sport 1000cc bikes inline fours rather than v-twins?
would that be the reason it has more low down compared to some modern bikes?

Yeh 1000st are inline 4s R1 gsxr1000 Zx10r bmw s1000RR Then you get the italians which is v config, ie aprilia with its v4 and ducati with its L twin, but they are usually revvy and have less torque and the curve is all peak power. And no its just how some bikes are, ive ridden the sp1 version of the vtr and that was face down ass up riding position its just how they are for optimum riding.

Most, not all. There's the KTM RC8 for example, various Ducati superbikes (including their latest efforts) and the EBR 1190RX. Doubtless I'm missing a whole heap of others too. IMO, if you want to experience top of the crop modern V-twin power, swing a leg over the KTM 1290 Super Duke R.

Oh I would love to try the superduke!
Lets to on a hunt for baron and ask him if i can swing a leg over ;)

The audio was great, liked the video and your voice is so much better than mine. I get tired of hearing mine in vlogs. Last vlog I had a lot of wind noise trouble, after hearing this guess I'll need to make a dead cat.

Thank you :) I used the same set up that baron von grumble did in his camera set up video about a year ago. I think it helps that my helmet has one of those wind shield things under my chin too, helps keep the wind away from the mic. Where do you put your microphone?
