Does Anybody Monitise Their Youtube Videos ?

It can be. With my level is a few dollars a year, C2W is getting fairly good money off it.

Someone once said it's better to monetise earlier rather than later, as suddenly monetising might annoy current subs who have got used to vids with no ads.

I've made $1.06 to date. This shit pays for it's self.

Just ask yourself do you want free money or not?

Unless you are using copyrighted material, which will most likely get detected once you choose to monetize. Otherwise just go ahead and do so.

Copywritten material always gets detected. Even if you have only one view and no subscribers

I'm sure they reduce it. I thought before I'd seen a greater balance than I'd seen now, and that was ages ago I'd checked.

So far I've made £128, which is more than I would have expected of my little channel, and that is mostly in the last 12 months, the 1st year was VERY slow...

That covers the cost of my gopro face cam. Just need another £400 to cover the drift and the memory cards etc...

I'm looking at an estimate (According to Socialblade) of up to £30 a year.

I'll try not to spend it all at once.....

Mine was just fully monetized this past year. I've had one check for like $135 and I have another coming soon for about $100 I think. Can't exactly buy that Dodge Challenger SRT8 I've been wanting yet, but who knows in the future?

I put it on when i started, Just been too lazy to turn it off. Also, i dont think i will ever get the $100 payout thing

i have all my videos monetised i have made £8.14p so far better then nothing :) its only 10GBP to withdraw so im close to making my first 10er :)

I monetize all my vids from day 1 lol. Even when I only had 10 subs. If business does pick-up you'll get something back to help with all the expenses of running a youtube channel. My channel is pretty small, but I'm getting enough from google each month to cover my moto fuel costs + some maintenance.

I am not going to tell you how much I make. I don't think that is anyone business really. But what I can tell you is that I get a deposit from YouTube a few times a year. It's nothing much, doesn't even come close to covering the time and material I burn but that's not why I do it. It's about the best hobby in the world, and now that I am a full on MotoVlogger I am having the time of my life! The CarVlog thing was cool, but motovlogging? Infinitely cooler!

So yeah, all my videos are monetized, and they have been from day 1. That is more a principle thing. If I create content for YouTube I should get a little bit back.

I personally make almost nothing off my videos, but I still monetize them anyway to get a few cents back.

But I only use banner ads and never skippable ads because those annoy me, and if it annoys me, I don't want to do the same to my viewers.
