Do you think Moto-Vlogging is encouraging more motorbike users?

I think it lets people who want to ride live vicariously through people who do. And maybe in some cases get them to start riding :)

There has been a few S.Af rider/vlogger on here in the last 6months IIRC ... Know you mentioned you being solo on the recent 'Aussies' vid .... But I'm sure they are still around here/there ... Maybe just despondent like yourself? ...

More mature people aren't watching vlogs or at least not with the same attention maybe.

Ah see now we're talking about media consumption.

More people are coming online for their media instead of traditional cable. This opens up viewing to amateur's like us to a much larger audience.

I will often stream YT to the TV and watch new vids just like a cable channel

This will be true for cagers too.
Is the key difference here not that Cars will carry cameras more purely for insurance purposes as we often see with the Russian videos, where Bikers actually plug in mics, use it as a form of expression and use it as a way of communicating with other bikers? How would you explain that, is it purely that Bikers are generally more engaged in their community or what has brought a long the growth of the moto-vlog scene?

I think it is. It didn't influence myself to jump on a motorcycle, I already had that. But watching did influence me to buy a camera.

Hopefully if we're introducing young people to bikes and they're getting them, we're teaching them to be safe. A death on my hands would be a terrible feeling.

I was getting a bike anyway and as a result I was looking up everything bike related I could, that's how I found motovloggers. After a while of watching them I wanted to give it a go.

It might well be attracting some people to two wheels. I think if seeing some clown riding around on YouTube was enough to get them on a bike, they would have gotten one anyway at some point.
