Hmmm, SaiyanR6/RoninK6  ??! Works :p .

Nice start :) ! Don't hear much of a Texas twang in your voice, though o_O ... are you originally from Texas or a transplant :p ??? Gott'a love those drivers down there... whenever I am in Texas, I get nosebleeds from all of the close calls people try to inflict upon me ~_~ (I-45 is a mess >< !). I guess I'll take an old granny slowing me down any day instead of soccer moms trying to race ~_~ .....

Subscribed ^_^ ... good luck riding in those frigid temps, btw ;) . I started out on a 600 myself, too, so it's nothing too out of the ordinary :p .....

(something I never figured out about Texas Interstates, though... what's up with all of those u-turn lanes :o ? you go one way in the Interstate just to turn around and go the other :p ??? goofy ;) !)

Welcome! Watched your vids, and you are really excited to be motovlogging :D

Btw, best bang-for-your-buck way to stay warm is to wear rain pants over your riding jeans and layers. Cutting out the wind is key!

Haha, born & raised in Texas :) I'm guessing maybe cause of the mic placement & cold that my voice sounds weird but mostly always people recognize the Texan 'zest' in my voice, haha :D I've actually had a couple of close calls since riding but none when I have my GoPro on so I guess the drivers see the camera & drive proper!

I just wanna ride so have to battle it out with temps no matter what, however, at the moment, it's raining outside so gotta keep the bike indoors. It's helpful to have those u-turns & I hope Texas doesn't take them away cause I'm sooooo used to them! U-Turns ftw!!^^

Really appreciate the sub! :)

Yess, yes I am lol :) Motovlogging is something that's related to motorcycles so I love it.

Oh really, I'm actually on Revzilla on another tab looking pants since I really need them for the wind & safety as well. Thanks for the tip, will look into it.

Disclaimer: My earlier suggestion was assuming that you already own some kevlar jeans with or without CE certified armour. If you are currently shopping for your first pair of riding pants, then you could invest in the textile kind that has removable linings and armour.

What I did when I first started riding was to invest in a good pair of kevlar jeans. As the weather got colder I would layer up with thermal underwear and such. And I bought regular rain pants from the outdoor recreation store, and that kept me warm and dry. However, you will notice that riding pants are cut longer so that when your legs are bent on the bike, and the pants bunch up a bit, the ankles stay covered. I had to put up with the bottoms of my jeans getting wet all the time.

No problem :) ! I also know what you mean, too. When I first got my bike, I couldn't keep off of it ~_~ .... rode until the first snow :p . In addition to the MSF course, it was a great learning experience that first year :D .

Ditto here, get some textile pants. Enough layers and versatile, too ;) .....

(oh, I'm into anime - looks like you are, too :p )
