From memory the bladed ones would fail MOT.

They would be potentially dangerous in a crash...Its fairly common to get bar ends hitting the rider in a crash, it happened to me when I high sided the SXV.

Right , forget i even asked. cheers :)

I just had a look out of interest and the MOT testers manual suggests they would pass.
Legally though, they might be questionable unless you had handguards, I wouldnt fancy one going through my Femoral artery!!

I have stubby's on mine they look bling....even with bobbles on...

I may just get the "Stubby's" then, looks are not worth dying for. LOL

Beautifully made and fully length adjustable and you can choose your colour combination too.

I bought some shorty black levers from China, came 5days later. Work perfectly & look so much better than the stock ones.

£23 + Free delivery

compared to branded ones for £50+

So they are good quality metal ? i would have thought for such a cheap price they would be terrible.
Well .. if it saves me money :)

I thought this also, I thought, soon as I pull them back. Boom snap!

Nope & the've held under alot of heavy braking, because there short, I can get 3, at a push 4 fingers on the lever. Compared to the OEM ones which you can get both hands on 1 lever.

I'd suggest Black levers due to them looking discrete. it's the little things that make the bike look good.

my tutor at college has the bladed ones and there quite sharp on the back not really cutting sharp but if u crash and your holding the bars and pinches your fingers it will more then likely cut them bad, they do look epic thou.

All I am going to say is you get what you pay for. Do you -really- want to trust your safety, and your LIFE, to the lowest bidder?

Azz3r you surprise me, for a guy who insists on spending loads on a branded helmet, you'd skimp on the only thing that's going to stop you. ;)

Nope & the've held under alot of heavy braking,

Read my OP before commenting, & they have a better alignment than the OEM levers & with the clutch being adjustable it makes life alot easier.

Almost every comment you have posted on this forum is 'trying' to shoot down what others have said. & being picky on certian things. Also you need to read what people have posted before commenting what is on your mind.

If you want to sound technical. If my brakes fail at least I'll have my "branded" helmet to stop me.

I trust these £23 levers, Pull the OEM lever too hard you will blow the piston. I've had no problem with them.

I read your comment fully. I was just expressing surprise at your purchase

Again I read it fully. My opinion it's the same.

If I find something I agree with I'll post, if I find something I don't agree with i'll post.

If I disagree with more things than agree, so be it.

How you take those posts especially those with winky smiles and poked out tongues, well that's your sensitivity.

Wasn't sounding technical at all, not even sure the word branded could be classed as a technical term.

I wasn't even casting doubt over your experience of them, just posted a few links illustrating why I wouldn't go for it myself and suggested that the buyer beware.

Then expressed surprise at your tight purse strings when you'd spend £400+ on a shiny helmet but settle for lookalikes when it came to actual hardware for your bike.

Not just aftermarket fairing nonsense but items in the "stuff that's life critical" chain of your motorbike.

As for 90% from China, I'd say the majority of my stuff is european, taiwan; and japan although 98% of statistics are made up out of thin air so take what you want from that.
