Well after selling my KLR650 last year due to money problems, battling health issues, and trying to get my graphics business up and running I find myself without two nickels to rub together. I won't be getting a bike until most likely next year so I'm going to step away for awhile. I've tried to sell a few things to no avail and making graphics is just barely pulling anything in right now, thought about asking for donations but that's just not me. My goal was $2000 and I've managed to come up with $30. I'm pushing myself too hard and it's too stressful right now.

Everyone stay safe and keep at least one wheel on the ground. Probably won't see me again until next year.

I don't really know what to say other than sorry its not working out for you. Hopefully things will pick up in the near future buddy!

Good luck dude :]

hope you still drop in to say hi, even if you're not on a bike you're more than welcome here :)

Good luck with the futur projects, hope to see you on here again sometime

Well I sold a trailer yesterday so I am $500 closer to getting a bike. I found a 1986 Honda XR600R locally for $1200 and am currently negotiating a possible trade for an ATV I've had sitting in my garage unused for a few years. I'm still trying.

best of luck with it mate :) hope to see you on a bike soon

Never fails. Found me a dual sport bike and have no way to pick it up, it's up towards Jefferson County (Hillsboro, MO.) My nephew has a truck but says it has some device on it that tracks his driving so it's hard for anyone else to drive it? WTF is that about? So I have no clue how I'm going to go pick it up. FML

ADDENDUM: I think I have a trailer rented for Saturday and I will be picking up the bike Saturday morning and bringing it back so i can tinker with it. It is a street legal, clear titled, dual sport, 1986 Honda XR600R. Once I get it all situated I will be doing a name change on here and will be back!

Won't be getting the bike, my Cherokee is puking clutch fluid out and the speedometer doesn't work and I have no spare tire in case of a flat. Got the money for the bike and everything but 0 for 5 in borrowing a truck from family or friends. Going to have to pass on it. FML. There has been NOTHING around here in that kind of shape for that price in a year. I'm done trying, forget it.

man that sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. We'll be here waiting for your return :)

Good luck :)

Last resort I thought screw it I'll get a hitch carrier from Harbor Freight and run up there and bring it back. OUT OF STOCK. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..................

Sorry to hear about your bikelessness. Is that a word?

I know the feeling though. I chased my tail for eleven years trying to get ahead financially enough to get another bike.

Eventually I sold my house and bought one! Now I don't own a house but at least I have a bike now and that is all that matters! :D

Stay positive and focussed on the goal of getting a bike and I am sure you will overcome all obstacles and be back on two wheels in no time.

Just post up an ad on your local craigslist asking if anyone(with a pickup truck) would be willing to give you a ride for gas $$$ and a six pack of beer(or some other incentive). I'm south of you and too far away to lend a hand, but I'm sure someone will help out. Last resort for me would be just renting a pickup from uhaul for a day.

U-Haul was all booked out of trailers. A truck rental would be $69 (a major credit card required which I don't have) and .99 cents a mile for fuel. I don't have $400 to rent a truck.

Try HomeDepot. They rent flatbed trucks, and I think they're kinda cheap.

Also, don't freak out so much over 1 bike. If you don't get it don't worry, there will be others. Sounds like you're going to give yourself an aneurysm.

Well let me put it this way, this is the first dual sport bike in my price range in range of where I live in...A YEAR. Yes that's how long it took me to find a dual sport I could afford, a year ago I sold my KLR650 (money probs) and this is the first bike I've seen since.

Only hobo's and east coast people get to ride trains in the US.
Well, we do have amtrak(gov owned bs train), but our railroads are privately owned by the freight haulers so amtrak riders spend most of their time on the tracks sitting at a red light on a sidding track waiting on a mile long freight train running about 25-30mph to approach then pass only to do it all over again a few miles up the tracks.

Passed on the Honda XL600R just had no means to go and get it but I'm looking at a DRZ400 near KC but it's a 2000 kick start model and I'm unsure if it can be converted to street legal in Missouri. The title has a "4 whl" designation on it which makes no sense to me I'm checking into it. There are a few vloggers up that way maybe they can help a brother out getting it.
