Anyone attending protest ride? I'm not sure whether to go to Thrapston A14 services, or Northampton M1 services.

I'm doing the Bristol Gordano Services one, going with my dad and a friend. One of the last biking things I can do before I go do my basic training..

The one I went on went excellently. I got video of the whole thing, me and my dad were the lead riders :D

Easily over 100 bikes turned up to this one alone, only slight downside was the rain (and the fact I hadn't plugged in my Drift's mic properly!).

I'd be happy to report.

I went to the Copdock one in Ipswich. Easily 500 riders there, we did two laps of the 5-6 mile stretch of road between Copdock and the Ransoms Europark turn off, crossing the Orwell bridge at 30mph each time.

There was also a second group that started in Nacton doing the same circuit as us on the other side that we waved to during passing each time.

The whole thing lasted about 40 minutes and BOTH lanes were totally blocked to cars (wrongly) but ah well, it was massively good fun.

Videos editing and rendering as we speak.

Just want to give a big thanks to everybody who went on these, even more-so the ones who recorded some sort of footage. It really excites me to see this happening. With any luck, this will have made some sort of impact, and a good one at that. Really good stuff. Hope there weren't any nasty accidents.

better my footage of it up, my and my mate went to the one near bletchley about 100 bikes if not then close to 100

Everyone should look at the twitter feeds of @danmoto73 @extreme601 and @parizianzee. You'll see what MAG told you wasn't completely true. Ie. the uk has all ready opted out of the ban on modification.

Checking their twitter feeds, I'm actually pretty appauled at MAG, if what's being said is true, considering about the only proposal still going forward was compulsory ABS. That's really screwed up.

Stupid isn't it. I was under the impression that my bike (7 years old) would be banned from urban areas.

Turns out that's not even on the table.

Nice of MAG isn't it.. getting everyone worked up over nothing.
