Absolutely awesome overview Friz, honestly, that easily trumps anything i've ever seen/heard from the motorcycle press!

Really well written, as mentioned previously, you can tell you really like the CBR. Having said that, how couldn't you like a bike that looks that good!

A career in motorcycle journalism, perhaps?

A zx6r treated a bit poorly will bite your face off.

A CBR600f is a lot more refined and easier to ride imo.

They're beautiful bikes, if I didn't want something a bit bigger for touring i'd definitely get one for my next bike.

thanks for the tip. Might look more deeply into the Honda then

Awesome bike, great review.

I just wish they kept the dual headlight, I am not a fan of the singles - too Gixxer-like!

I love that bike so much!
I'm half way through my journalism degree, might have to do something lile this myself soon, that was an awesome review!

After a lot of deliberation between a few bikes, including the Triumph Street Triple, Kawa ER-6F and this, I am firmly leaning towards the CBR600F. Part of that's because as a new rider I like the security of knowing that ABS is there in case I misjudge something and grab too much brake or am unsure about the bike's capabilities in poorer conditions. I might never use it, but knowing its there will give me confidence and that's the most important thing for me to develop first - confidence and capability.

Friz, as I commented on your vids when you posted them - great review and lovely bike.

Having said all that, I'm off to the Kawasaki dealership tomorrow for their 2012 model launch night and will see the new ER-6F (Ninja 650R for any guys on the wrong side of the pond :D Actually prefer the Ninja name, but that's just me.), so it might all change after I've drooled over the new shiny stuff

The ZX6R and the ER6F are different bikes. The ZX6R is a supersports 600 and also has Ninja written on it in the UK. The ER6F doesn't.
