Yea they changed the rule a few months ago to where you have to have 500 subs to change it. I guess they want to make sure you are going to stick around.
No need to do that, YouTube automatically adds metadata tags such as your channel name and alternative search terms to your custom ones too.It will improve as you get more views and interaction. It will be a while before people search you by name, but by then it'll fix it. Try adding a tag to your vids of jason Motovlogs to start with
Definitely, but there's no need to put generic tags into the videos that are already in your title, "about" or username as all you do is dilute your tags.Give it the search terms you want until it figures itself out. Think it's still generally accepted use, not abuse, of tags can help initially.
