Site owner, lovely and adorable
You can now rate threads on the forum!

This will be monitored and if abused then I'll simply remove it. I hope using this will work alongside the 'like' function and get rid of the not so great threads but give more focus on the good ones.

You can't rate your own threads.

To rate a thread, look towards the right of the page :)

Stop an issue? Let post below

Everyone downrate this thread, let's sink it to the bottom!.

Actually, what happens when someone rates a thread? It gets in a "best threads" list or something?

what if i rate every thread as bad?

Well doing it without a valid reason would be classed as trolling. I don't mind people winding each other up but make the forum look crap by down voting for 'fun' would result in a ban if I see a trend

I can see who voted and what they voted

It won't effect the way things are laid out. However if someone posts something like 'how do I get subs' which has been asked hundreds of times then I'd most likely mark it low unless it had value.

I'd personally skip a low end thread and have more focus on the hit topics

Hrm .... No angst either way on this... But don't threads have an innate rating system.... S'called views!?

Mmm posts ... Can be ambiguous ... What about when we of the southern land start postwhoring for the hell of it? ;):p

But Dan, everyone can see the voters list. And what they voted. As this random user said:

I see a shitstorm coming about this. I don't quite like it.

Only me and mods can see what score people voted - That's so we know if someone is abusing it or down voting a thread for the sake of it.

Shitstorm, well, when people pay the hosting fees then they can have a say what I can or can't do ;)
