Hey everyone!

I've lurked over here at motovlog.com for a while, but felt it was a good opportunity to register up as another means if interacting with all you awesome motovloggers out there!

I'm Todd, and I pound the verbal and literal pavement here in Phoenix Arizona on a '09 Crossplane Yamaha R1. I've been riding for a couple years, but have had interest in video and film for close to a decade. I've been motovlogging since September of 2013 with some success and have made some really great friends along the way.

Prior to getting into bikes, I spent many years involved in the local automotive community. I'm a DIY kind of guy due to the necessity of maintaining my vehicles but also because I have the mod disease. Prior to the R1, I nurtured a 2005 RX8 from a stock machine to a fully built turbocharged menace. I am thankful Yamaha built a much less temperamental machine than Mazda! As such, you can expect to see many installation and modification videos as well as detailed info on street tuning once I get my hands on a flashtuner and a datalogger. I briefly tuned professionally before realizing I like it more as a hobby than taking people's money and being on-call 24/7 as a scapegoat for every single problem that happens with a customer car.

I'm big on expectations so here are some of the things you can all expect to see from me and my channel. I'm long winded (dontchaknow?) so there will be plenty of conversation. I'm not a stunter and while I love speed and leaning in those corners, don't expect wheelies or anything of the sort from ME. I will happily video anyone else doing them though! I like big picture topics and starting deep discussions. I'm looking to attract opinionated people who contribute to the discussion. I'm not looking to be the final word on anything, just simply someone to start the discussion.

Above all, it is about community and inspiration. Riding a bike is something many people dream about but few ever do. I'm an ordinary guy trying to do extraordinary things and I simply seek to inspire and encourage everyone else to do the same.

Thanks for reading!

The bike does have a dual personality in many ways. The selectable throttle modes along with how the power is delivered with the cross plane does allow for both a maniac and subdued method of riding. It can be a serious problem if you live in an area with low speed limits and lots of law enforcement. The bike is capable of reaching triple digits without breaking a sweat, and any gap you see you're more than capable of reaching. That all said, you learn to respect the bike VERY quickly because it is quite obvious how quickly things can get out of control if you don't remained disciplined. That is responsible for a majority of what keeps me in check.
