Hi Guys,

My name is James and I currently browse youtube under the pseudonym of Jammy. I am currently living at home with my parents (unfortunately) in Brighton.

I have a BSc (hons) Wildlife Conservation, which is such an awesome degree, however, it does mean finding a job is dead hard - Currently spending time volunteering with my local wildlife trust. If I can't get a paid job, might as well do something with my time. I am currently looking, but getting bashed down at every opportunity. SO annoying. I have 'abnormal' interests as my family would say I enjoy wildlife, twitching, photography, scuba diving and motorcycling. I am also an active campaigner to help prevent poaching of rhinos and elephants in Africa.

I currently ride a 2008 Yamaha R125 Rossi Replica - she's called 'Elsa' and she's awesome (though failed to start today for some reason!?!?!?!) I am not sure how long I will actually keep her though due to the aggressive riding position and my scoliosis, but I don't have the money for the Honda MSX125 (grom) I want.

I started vlogging because I was bored at university, I started out on a 50cc Peugeot V-clic, which was pretty perfect getting me to and from university. Unfortunately I crashed her last July and wrote her off! :( And then in January I bought the R125 which was awesome, so now just slowly building my confidence back up in riding, so I thought I would start again even though I am not overly confident so I can share my development with fellow vloggers, and hopefully in a few months time I will be an okay rider again.

As the only thing I seem to be good at is ecology, wildlife, photography, conservation and understanding the natural world I think I want to direct my channel into this sort of area, I guess it will be quite niche but I want to help open people's eyes to the natural world and show how amazingly beautiful it actually is, and hopefully in the end get more people into conservation and hopefully help with persevering our natural world for the wild fauna and flora and our future generations. I also want to include some wildlife film making stuff too, which I think will be ace. :D I just need to get the confidence to ride to the local WWT, RSPB reserves to collect the pictures and footage.

I am currently using a Drift HD Ghost with the official Drift microphone, I use premier pro ( i got when I was a student!!) to edit :)

As I can't post a link to my youtube channel I can be found youtube/user/jammy343 I currently only have one vlog up at the moment but in the process of doing another one!! :)

I would love to get your feedback on my first vlog!! :D

Sorry for the long post,
Cheers,
Jammy.

WOW, yeay, Love the intro. I can see you are used to writing letters for jobs etc. You seem...Practised? lol

Gday and welcome, from the Land of Oz...

I still feel guilty...I was riding out in the Bush, came over a hill, round a cnr...and thats when i ran the Turtle over...:(
Obviously i pulled over STRAIGHT away, poor little bugger got a cracked shell. Nothing i could do for him/her, so i let it go again...After later fiding out their shell is their ribs...Hope the little dude still lived on? What ya reckon, would it have lived?

Excellent idea BTW, a RARE/Very small Niche that would be, Riding/Vlogging/Animal Safari-ing...I'd definately watch that. Dont forget your 'Daktari' Hat...lol
Looking for ward to future vids.

Cheers.

Thanks mate! :) Yeah last 9 months been adapting, re-applying, re-adapting, re-applying the circle continues :(.. I also miss uni work, I enjoyed that sort of pressure and stress.

Ah man, that's such a shame! :( but sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. I guess it depended on the size of the crack, also there could have been underlying internal injuries. Hopefully he did live a fruitful life, :D.

Thanks, I can't wait to start making everything! It's something i've always wanted to do. I have found 2 masters I want to do both relating to wildlife film making. Just something i've always dreamed off, being able to spread my knowledge, as I know i'd never be able to become a teacher in the UK (due to my maths qualifications, but I am fine at graduate statistics?!) I thought this would be the best way to do it, it'd help develop my knowledge along the way too!
Hopefully I will be able to re-visit Africa sometime soon and continue the vlogs/animal safari-ing out there (no riding as I still only have provisional CBT), maybe even Australia ;). Will definitely look for one of those hats. haha. I know there's another moto-vlogger out there (who's epic!) who too is starting a nature vlogs, which will be epic!! :D.

Thanks again mate. :)

I just discovered I may not be able to post links, I can post my first vlog, so here it is! :) (Mods if im not allowed to post this please let me know!):)

Welcome Sir, that Donkey was lovely he reminds me of my GSD :)

Thanks buddy!! :) Yeah, that donkey is awesome. I wish it was mine but being similar costs to keep as horses I highly doubt i'd ever be able to afford them. A GSD? nice, how old? They're one of my favorites. I'd love one of them one day!

They sound awesome!! Rhodesian Ridgebacks are fantastic dogs. Can't wait to get my GSD, never owned a dog before but have a long history of knowledge in animal behavior and a level 2 in canine behavior so hopefully I will have a good GSD and able to train it properly.

He was my first dog and my wife's third or forth. He takes time to get to know other dogs and isn't the most amazing dog on a lead either, we love him to bits though. he's very special. *Cry*
