I once got a call from rural a school in the middle of nowhere. The problem was still there after telling them to turn it off and on again so I had to get to the place. 47km of straight road. With ONE 40º turn. I never got so bored on a motorcycle. The first time I ever had to think "Am I there yet?".
The best thing was getting there and getting off the sportbike in full gear, full power-ranger mode with all the kids crowding around, hahaha, I really enjoyed that.

On any rest stop: Water. Nothing but water. Maybe gasified water.
Between coffee or energy drink, if I'm not sleepy and have the time to wait until it cools off, that will be coffee. But I don't normally drink either.
