Hi,
I live in Berkshire, ride a GS12. Love riding it. The good lady has a GS7. Touring we go.
Saw a forum article about microphones and the Drift 4K and it's horrible mini sub connection. Am hoping to find alternatives to a. The Mic and b. The horrible cable that deforms. It needs a right angle at the mini usb. Additionally, are the audio connections generic? I have replaced the cable with a generic one, but the camera doesnt recognise it and records from its internal mics.

Quite a few people have had that issues with adapter on the X aswell. Phil480's X won't work with a mic adapter but charges fine. I was going going to pickup up a X or 4K but the mic issues.

We have just begun using Bluetooth comms bike to bike. Got a range of about 1 to 300 yards depending on landscape. Can be fun and useful for hazards and stuff.
