Welcome to the forum.

Macs and PCs are great to edit but you can also get some great results with a smart phone or tablet. I am going to brag on one motovlogger @chaosnaut uses just a smart device according to some feedback on one of my recent motovlogs.

If you are going for dual camera PIP then yes, the bigger guns are needed.

Just wanting to encourage you go ahead and chase that dream with what you have. Heck, you might find less stressful on the old moneypile.
