Hey guys, a newbie here from the bonnie shores of Scotland. I've been messing around with the idea of trying to capture some of my motorcycle trips and adventures on video and so this idea has led me here!

Looking forward to reading about the different set-ups and comparing it to what i have now (GoPro Hero 5 Black, with the horrible mic adaptor!!! attached to an Arai Tour X4).

Hiya, welcome to the forum. I spent a few years based in Scotland, beautiful place to ride when the weather is playing ball.
What do you ride? Stick a pic of ya bike up, we like pics! :-)

Welcome Mark look forward to see what you come up. I've been up into Scotland many many times in the past in the car. Would love to get the bike up there. Just 10 hours up to Inverness where I have family dosen't sound like a good time

Hello!

I look forward to what you share. I keep hearing that the 5 and 6 adapters are terrible. Then I noticed they use what looks like the same connection that a lot of Android Smartphone use which always has given me fits.

Maybe they will move to the C type connection one day.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I ride a 2017 BMW GSA. Parted with my 15yr old VFR800 (owned from new in 2002) last May. I absolutely love the BM, but do miss the VFR a little, it was also a very good bike!

I’ll attempt to post a picture...

Whilst I don't think a BMW GS is particle for as an everyday bike (which is my use) I can certainly appreciate the looks

The Go-Pro Hero 5 and 6 do use the USB-C connector

It can be a bit brutal, but there’s a whole bucket load of amazing roads to deviate onto on the way to Inverness. Do itniver a couple of days and enjoy the ride
