I'm also getting into after effects with my vlogs. Really starting to love the whole start to finish process

Same, I've made my Intro with After Effects but its a tricky little pony! If I dont do 'step-by-step' tutorials with it, I'm basicly f*cked!

That's how it was for me. Once you learn the commands and actions then you can really start to become adventurous with your stuff

You can open video files in Photoshop.

Dude I actually just found that out today! I got some learning to do but I'm going to start taking the editing aspect of my vlogs to another level hopefully. I literally spent 30 hours last week learning photoshop and effects!

Photoshop is soon the "do everything" software.

A tip for those who want to get into PS: All you need to learn is that it's impossible to "break" photoshop by pressing the wrong button, if you think you did, press "ctrl-alt-z" repeatedly. Explore functions and features like mad. And keep in mind that you barely need a fraction of all the tools to get to what OP made. Time and a problem solving mindset is key.

^^^^^^^ perfect explanation. Ctrl alt z is amazing. Learning keyboard shortcuts also saves lots of time
