Beginner Biker Adventures
Hi all! I'm based in East London, always ridden Yamaha Fazers, currently an FZ6 S2. Been riding just over 8 years and been doing blogging and a little vlogging most of that time (links in profile etc etc). TBH I've no idea why I never found this forum sooner! Either way, I'm always looking to up my game and learn more about this vlogging, so I'm hoping to chat with others here doing the same and improve. I do have a software engineering background which helps with the tech side. I've previously worked for many years in the games industry and I did my degree in Computer Animation & Visualisation at Bournemouth, so do have a wee bit of cinematic and graphics knowledge. Though many of these skills are a bit rusty - haven't touched Alias/Autodesk Maya since early 2000s!
I used to commute daily into London (WFH now - covids), but I do like tearing up the local Essex roads, I try to tour a bit and when travelling around the globe for work, I try to hire bikes to explore. Had some a few great trips around California and Brisbane in the past, but of course work travel has now stopped (covids etc). My wife is also a biker (from her teens), so we often ride as a family with kids too!
Anyways I ramble, so here's a quick photo of my bike. From a recent tour of Wales back in August, lovely little back road from Dinas Mawddwy to Bala Lake.
