Motovloggers Invade Deals Gap Again!

I'm a little late with this, and for that I apologize.

After a fantastic time last year with two different small meets in East Tn, it's been decided that we'll do it again. Here's the information, with more information added to this post as it becomes available.

Who: Everyone, essentially. We had a small turnout last year, but that doesn't matter. We had a blast anyway.

What: 2014 East Tennessee Motovlogger Meetup

When: Friday September 26, 2014 - Monday September 29, 2014. As usual, show up Friday, ride Sat and Sun, depart Monday.

Where: Rocky Waters Inn, 333 Parkway Gatlinburg, TN 37738 (865) 436-7861 If it fills up call the Days Inn behind it, they're run by the same people and share some amenities. I've stayed at both, and they're not fantastic but they are nice enough for our purpose.

Why: Because. What other reason is there?

Routes are still TBD. We WILL be riding the Dragon, NC Highway 28, and the Cherohala Skyway. When we ride them and how we get there hasn't been decided just yet. We're also toying with the idea of going to the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley NC, but that seems a little unlikely at this point.

I'm even thinking of including something of a small surprise destination on one of the two days we'll ride.

As always I welcome all input. I know the area quite well, if anyone has any questions by all means feel free to ask them!

Great, I will make plans to attend Trinith. When is the best time to make reservations by???

Checked yesterday and the Rocky Waters Inn was booked up for that weekend. However the Days Inn that is mentioned has rooms still available if anyone is needing them. The link below is to the one that's right next to Rocky Waters. There are 2 in Gatlinburg I believe. Anywho...can't wait to see you guys again this year!

FYI, you can make a reservation at the hotel through other services such as Priceline. A lot of times those companies have an agreed upon number of rooms they will have available so sometimes when a hotel is fully booked, it's still available through another service like Priceline until a later date.

Anyway, I'm booked for the weekend but I'll have a single King bed so no room sharing available with me. Sorry.

ok... now that I have finished my Canada trip, I can work on trying to make this one... my question is.. does anyone want to split a hotel room with me... if I can get someone to share, I can commit right now to attending... if not.. then I have to wait until much later to make sure I have the funds available for me. come on... I don't take up much room and I am not an axe murderer... (I prefer machetes)

Hey, I was thinking about going, but not sure I will make it now. I spent a lot on my vacation, so it is still a decision I have to make. As much as I want to attend, I think I will need a little more time to prepare for it. Maybe next year. I am sorry to have to write this, but I was looking forward to going, but I will probably attend Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. UnstableBoy, how much is a room there?
