Hi - New Texas Motovlogger

Mr-P

Mr. "The Panda" P
Hello people of the interwebs!

Just introducing myself.

I'm a new motovlogger in the FTW Texas area. I've had a camera on my helmet for over a year now, but just recently started posting (I mean like Saturday kind of recently 20151114). The Audio is rather interesting right now while I figure out good mic positioning.

A little bit about me personally...
I work in IT for a living and ride an HD Sportster (I love sportbikes too!). I ride mostly every day back and forth all year round.

A little bit about my channel...
I plan to upload 1-2 videos weekly every Friday and or Saturday (maybe both :o ||). Right now I kind of just talk about whatever with no real set topic. Videos will generally be around 10 minutes (It takes god awful forever to render a 20 minute video).

My Setup...
Sena SMH10 for audio (This is going to be changed - I sound like i'm on a walky talky (audacity barely fixes this))
Gopro Hero 3 for video (Old faithful)
HJC to hold it all together

My Goals with motovlogging...
Have fun :)

The video on there now is not the greatest, but hey it was my first attempt!

I do accept all constructive criticism!

Welcome to the site fella.

You're welcome to share your videos etc but we have a 20 post rule, to use the post your videos section you'll need to post 5 posts every 7 days (keeps the spammers at bay)

We don't really moderate the forum for other than spam so you go right ahead, fit in ;)

Watch out for @Marbro_za though

Welcome. There are a few DFW guys on here, including me! You may want to consider editing down to 5 minutes or less if you can get away with it. Unless you just have 10 whole minutes of really good content, it's tough to keep peoples' attention longer than about 5 minutes and a lot of people will skip over longer vids entirely. When I started all of my vids were 15 minutes long or so. Now I try to stay around 5.

Gotta love DFW! Although the weather here isn't exactly pleasant right now. I will take that into account. I will say 5 minutes would be perfect would take me less than 30 minutes tor render that. I made a video yesterday that is 20ish minutes long. I have to go back through and shrink that. Might even split it into 2 different vlogs. Thanks for the advice however and if you are ever in the NRH/Keller area hit me up i'd love to go for a ride!

For sure. My riding/recording has been spotty lately due to weather and me generally being a lazy ass. On my old computer, which was from 2009, it took me over an hour to render a 5 minute video. It finally puked so I got a new one and now it takes me about 8-10 minutes! It's amazing what updated hardware and a decent graphics card will do.

Welcome along man, I have met a lot of Texans over the last few years my football coach is one but as Texas is nine times the size of Ireland I won't ask if you know him lol.

I am new also, looking forward to learning together sir! Welcome! :)

Did you go to the recent TX motovlogger meet up?
