Hello From Pa

Just saying hello! and introducing myself. I should have done this already but I forgot. My name is JR and I'm a rider out of Pittsburgh, PA. 52yrs old and this will be my 17th season of riding. Took my first ride when I was 10yrs old and I was hooked. Got my first bike at 26 (a little Honda) and took a little break in there where I didn't ride due to my situation at the time.

I'm a rider and a youtube watcher. Current ride is a Goldwing. Have had many bikes over the years, mostly sportbikes and UJM's. Recently bought a GoPro 4 mostly because I wanted a cam to take with me in or on vehicles but mostly for when I ride just in case. But since its a bit of a costly investment I thought I'd give a try to doing some video's too. I really enjoy watching video's but I'm not sure how much fun it will be to try and make one.

Also wanted to say thanks to the community for already helping me out. I posted a question or two and received some friendly help and suggestions. Looking forward to getting to know everybody and watching your video's.

Welcome, I'm down here in Washington about 30 - 45 mins away

Thanks, I'm actually northeast of the city. Used to live in greentree and moved due to work. Now I'm near tarentum (5 minutes away from Gatto Cycle). Btw, have you ever gone to bike night at Quacker Steak and Lube in South Hills? There might be some vlogging potential there for you. Oh btw, there is a vintage motorcycle race coming up in July I think. Its at Schenley Park. I've never been to one before but thinking it might be worth the trip.

I haven't been to the one in south hills, it's actually faster for me to go to the one in Triadelphia, WV. I think they do a vintage car race around the same area, is the the classic on/off road race? I think I've seen fliers for it. If you ever get the chance to make it down to Waynesburg, they do drag races at the airport the last Sunday of all of the summer months. You see a lot of great cars + some bikes, and it's always a good time.
