Hello guys and girls I am H4RRYxj

I'm from England and i live in a town called Aldershot in Hampshire.

I ride a Yamaha XJ6N Sport Blu. I'm totally in love with the bike and for some reason cant stop washing it
( i wonder how long that will last )

I have been into motorbikes since i was about five when i recived my first ever bike a small little 50cc monkey bike and I have been into bikes ever since.

I have just started recording rides and clips with my Drift ghost hd.
currently on my you tube channel i just have a walkaround of my bike and a test video of some camera set ups and my first attempt of editing. would be great to hear feed back on improving the quality of the footage or any tips to editing as im a totaly newbie in film editing.

I purchased a head cam not realy to vlog. At first it was just after a very close call of a car driving into my lane and forcing me onto the curb that i thought if that ever happens again i want some footage to take to the police if it was needed. So the vlogging is just coming to light now, as a side line to owning the camera.

Usually every Wednesday I'm of to Alton or surrounding areas on the bike for a bit of fun with a few mates.

Would be great to meet more bikers around the area.

So I look forward to speaking to some of you.

Not a million miles from me, there. I first got a camera for the same reason after getting knocked off five years ago. Glad that run-in with the car wasn't serious!

The tank-top view is very interesting and a bit different from most people, so certainly stands out.

As for editing, be prepared to be ruthless in cutting out boring stuff and concentrating on the sections that will keep people's attention, though I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice regarding what people like. The most important thing, though, is to make videos you enjoy making and viewing. If you're not enjoying it, there's not much point. And expect the occasional criticism of your riding - it will always be intended as friendly advice to help you, so don't ever take it personally as putting you down...

After editing, to maintain quality for YouTube, you need to keep the bitrate reasonably high. I do mine at about 5,000kbps which seems like a reasonable compromise between quality and upload times. The higher the quality, the better, but it will take longer to upload, but you can always upload overnight.

Good luck, anyway. Have subbed and look forward to future videos.

Thanks for the advise dude.

the what bit rate do i edit the films at was stuffing me but thank you for mentioning that.

With the top tank view i cant keep a mic attached which kind of sucks but i looks decent when corners are involved seeing as it looks sunny may give the bike a wash then of out round some roads see if i can start mounting up some clips = ]
