Dirt Bike Vlogger Down Under

hey guys, sort of new to this but also not so new...

i didn't even realize i had started a vlog, we just filmed our dirt rides here in australia a year ago, mainly for ourselves but then found a bunch of guys from other countries tuning in to watch. a few weeks back someone said "nice vlogging" and had to look the word up lol!

anyway i've started to making the vids a bit more interesting since they've got a small following, keen to learn from everyone on the forum here.

cheers lurch, only needed five seconds into your vid to see where your name came from lol! damn it looks like grey wet weather over there...

quick question lurch, i've just done a quick look through all the threads looking for one that might have a pile of suggestions on how to vlog... is there a thread like that or is it just a case of reading heaps and picking up tips here and there?
thanks!

Don't think there's a how to vlog thread as such, as you just speak your mind about a topic. Plenty of threads on how to choose topics though!

Main thing you will find from here is to do it your way, and do it for yourself, not for what you think the audience wants. Don't be fake, and don't be a dick for the sake of it. No harm in seeking influences, but no point copying someone, as it has already been done.

cheers lurch, sound advice on looking for influences, not copying.... very similar int the music scene. i'd hesitate to call our ride vids a vlog necessarily as doing it all a bit differently so what i've seen around here.

thanks guys, it's been over a month now so already i'm feeling relaxed enough to walk in with my muddy boots on, put my feet up on the couch. leave the fridge open.... :)
