Just Another Of Those Pesky Lady Motovloggers...

RedRenna

Miss RedRenna - UK motovlogger
Hi everyone I am RedRenna, Im from the south east UK.
Been riding for about a year and been watching motovlogs for the whole of that time.
Just bought a Drift Ghost HD for evidence incase someone crashes into me, but tested it out and I like talking to it.. So have put the videos on youtube! I ride all year round so will be plenty of footage coming out all winter, unless there is a snow storm!

I ride a honda CBR600f, she is a 2012 model and is red and white.
She is also called Renna, which is why my channel is called redrenna.

Would love to hear your thoughts on my vlogs so far, edited 6 videos but only have four currently on the tube due to numberplate blurring issues, which a mate of mine is hopefully sorting for me tomorrow :)

Hope to meet up with lots of you in the future!

Welcome

dont let your gender define you though.... people will soon lose interest if thats how you market it

Thank you all for the welcomes!

Haha I do not let my gender define me, dont worry, you will see that in my vids.
I know some people don't like watching lady vloggers tho, so was just warning people really. some lady vloggers voices are horrid to listen to because they don't record as well as mens over the bassy noise of the bike. Hope mine doesn't come out too bad...

I personally dont mine female vloggers aslong as they dont play it up too much.

Haha does he now?

I dont think I have even mentioned that I am a woman in my vlogs actually, I just wrote it in the first vid description, not talked about it. I guess I just assumed people can tell from my voice... I hope!
I dont think I sound manly. By the way, isn't hearing your own voice properly for the first time a VERY strange experience?!

This is a bit overdue, but welcome fellow lady "I talk to myself in my helmet!" I hope I'm not one of those people with an unbearable voice...

Thankyou for the welcomes!

To be honest I haven't really come across that many other lady motovloggers to watch, :) a few of my friends have commented on the 'voice lost over sound of bike' thing. I can't find any of your vids msrandom, have you deleted them all?! :)

The thing about that is I usually record, edit, then delete them due to being far too self-conscious. They never make it to YouTube. :) I'm in the process of editing one now. Hopefully it makes it all the way.

By the way, what is your 'Tube URL?

Welcome!

Your intro is NUTS! :D

As for losing your voice to the bike, have a look inside of whichever editing software you use and odds are that somewhere you'll find an audio effect called a 'Low Cut' or a 'High Pass'. use it to chop off ALL sound below 120Hz and that should take off a lot of the bikes hum and rumble (without affecting how good it sounds, promise!) and leave a bit more acoustic 'space' for your voice to stand out.

Hope that helps.

Agreed, or there will be an equaliser in the audio settings, drop the lower end and push the higher end should work. Don't go too nuts with it or it'll sound like a radio phone in.
